Technical description of the product (SQ-ASB-010-OMNI-SHOCK-NC):

SQ-SEN-815B omnidirectional shock sensor, normally closed. The SQ-ASB series sensor is a normally closed acceleration switch. It is designed to be sensitive in all directions. It is about 4 times more sensitive off axis than on axis. Typical cross-axis open signals are in the 2.8 mS range, where on-axis open signals are proportional to the duration of acceleration above the threshold. Functions: Omnidirectional movement sensing, normally closed, on/off shock & acceleration sensing. Key Specs: 50 to 2000 g range, omnidirectional shock detection. Features: Fast response < 100 uS, industrial rated (10 year life, -40 to 85 °C), multiple sensitivities (5 g to 100 g), miniature size (3.3 mm x 6.9 mm), simple interface (no signal conditioning required), nano-power (as little as 50 nA).
