The MIKROE-2964 Cap Touch 2 Click board features the CAP1166, an advanced touch/proximity sensor IC. It includes six touch-sensitive channels and six independent LED drivers with various operating modes, such as touch sensor linking, pulsing, and breathing effects. The CAP1166 also supports Multiple Touch Pattern Detection (MTPD) and a press-and-hold function. Capacitive touch sensor inputs are protected from false detections caused by low noise and RF interferences, ensuring reliable touch sensing. Type: Proximity.
