MIKROE-2863 DIGI POT 5 Click is a digitally controlled quad potentiometer with 10KΩ resistance, featuring the MCP4361. It has an 8-bit wiper step resolution, allowing 257 discrete positions across 256 internal resistors. The digital wiper position is controlled via the SPI interface. DIGI POT 5 Click includes durable EEPROM non-volatile (NV) memory for storing the wiper position, which is recalled after power-on or reset, mimicking a mechanical counterpart. The device also features WiperLock™ technology for locking the wiper position. Practical uses include precision calibration of set point thresholds, sensor trimming, LCD contrast adjustment, audio attenuation, adjustable amplifier gain, and offset trimming. It replaces common mechanical trim pots in various applications within operating voltage limits.
