The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-2728 EERAM 3.3V Click Board is a static RAM (SRAM) memory click board with a unique feature: it has a backup non-volatile memory array, used to store the data from the SRAM array. Since SRAM is not able to maintain its content after power loss, the non-volatile EEPROM backup is a very handy addition that can be used to preserve the data. The memory backup procedure can be executed both automatically and manually. When set to manual mode, the onboard capacitor acts as a power source with enough power to complete the backup cycle. The power-on backup restore mode is also available, taking about 25ms to complete. The board features 16 Kbit SRAM and communicates via an I2C interface at 3.3V. Compatibility with mikroBUS.
