The MIKROE-2253 Text To Speech click is a mikroBUS add-on board featuring an Epson S1V30120 speech synthesis IC. It is powered by the Fonix DECtalk v5 speech synthesis engine, enabling devices to speak in US English, Castilian Spanish, or Latin American Spanish with nine predefined voices. Applications include talking robots, text-to-speech, and speech processing for embedded systems and portable devices. Interface options are GPIO and SPI. It operates on 3.3V or 5V and is compatible with mikroBUS. The click board size is L (57.15 x 25.4 mm).
