The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1988 Color 2 click board features the ISL29125 RGB color light sensor. This sensor detects red, green, and blue light components across various lighting conditions, providing 16-bit resolution data. Its measuring range extends from 5.7 m lux to 10,000 lux. An integrated IR blocking filter enhances accuracy. The ADC effectively rejects 50Hz and 60Hz flicker from artificial light sources. It communicates via an I2C interface and operates on a 3.3V power supply. Ideal for ambient light color detection, dynamic display color balancing, and OLED display aging compensation.
