Technical description of the product (MIKROE-1628):

The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1628 MQ-4 Methane Gas Sensor Click Board carries an MQ-4 sensor for methane (CH4). The gas sensing layer is made of tin dioxide (SnO2), with conductivity increasing as methane levels rise. The detection range of the sensor is 200-10000 ppm of methane. A potentiometer allows calibration of the sensor by adjusting the load resistance. For precise calibration, a preheat time of 24 hours is required. The board communicates through the AN (OUT) mikroBUS line and is designed to use a 5V power supply only.
