The Mikroelektronika MIKROE-1424 Light Click board is an add-on board featuring the PD15-22CTR8 PIN photodiode, providing an effective and straightforward method for measuring ambient light intensity. This optical board is suitable for high-resolution conversion of light intensity to frequency without external components, offering programmable sensitivity and full-scale output frequency. It incorporates the TSL230BR programmable light-to-frequency converter. Key features include temperature compensation for the ultraviolet-to-visible light range of 320 nm to 700 nm, with a response over the broader light range of 320 nm to 1050 nm. All inputs and the output are TTL compatible. Interface options are Analog and SPI. The board supports an input voltage of 3.3V or 5V and is compatible with mikroBUS, S-size (28.6 x 25.4 mm).
