The MIKROE-3971 NFC Extend Click is an NFC tag interface device featuring the ST25DV16K compact NFC tag IC from STMicroelectronics. It offers 16 Kbit of EEPROM and supports external antennas of any shape and size. Communication is via an I2C serial link, operable from a DC power supply, or an RF link, activated when functioning as a contactless memory powered by a received electromagnetic wave. Key features include fast data transfer between I2C and RF interfaces, a half-duplex 256-byte dedicated buffer, energy harvesting, and data protection. It is suitable for diverse applications like NFC-enabled business cards, stickers, wristbands, key fobs, and medication bottles. Input voltage: 3.3V or 5V.
