Technical description of the product (MPF300-EVAL-KIT):

The Microsemi MPF300-EVAL-KIT is a G5 PolarFire Production Evaluation Kit featuring a 300K LE PolarFire FPGA in an FCG1152 package (MPF300TS-1FCG1152EES). This development board includes an HPC FMC connector, 1x SFP+ cage, IEEE 1588 PLLs and associated software. It provides SMA connectors for testing full-duplex 12.7Gbps SERDES channels, 4GB DDR4 x32 and 2GB DDR3 x16 memory, and a PCI Express (x4) edge connector. Connectivity options include two RJ45 ports for 10/100/1000 Ethernet using SGMII on GPIO, and a dual 10/100/1000BASE-T PHY (VSC8575) for SyncE and 1588 applications. A SATA interface is also present. The kit features a power management unit for 1 or 1.05V PolarFire FPGA core voltage, a USB to UART interface, and embedded programming and debugging capabilities via SPI and JTAG. On-board power monitoring and two 1Gb SPI Flash memory modules are included.
