This Maxim MAX481CSA is an RoHS-compliant, 8-terminal, deactivatable interface integrated circuit in an SO8 surface-mounted (SMD) housing. It features a half-duplex serial interface with differential transmitter/receiver circuits, supporting a communication speed of 2.5 Mbit/s. It includes one receiving circuit and one control circuit, capable of connecting up to 32 receiver circuits on the line. The operating voltage is +5.25V, and the maximum operating temperature is +70°C.
