It functions as a serial interface transceiver with 2 drivers and 2 receivers. The device is non-disableable and requires a single power supply. Maximum communication speed is 120 kbps. Supply voltage range is +4.5 V to +5.5 V and the extended temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
