Technical description of the product (DM240018):

The Microchip PIC24F LCD & USB Curiosity Development Board features a PIC24FJ512GU410 low power (XLP) microcontroller with a USB and an integrated segmented LCD controller. It offers an on-board LCD panel with backlight, a Full Speed USB interface, an integrated programmer/debugger with USB interface and COM port, a digital temperature sensor (TC77), an analog potentiometer, multiple user LEDs, an RGB LED and switches. A 32.768 kHz Secondary OSC for RTCC is also present. Female headers provide access to microcontroller I/O pins, and a circuit prototyping area is available. Power sources include USB power and VBAT emulation circuitry with a secondary coin cell. Test points to measure device current consumption are integrated. The board supports functionality expansion with two mikroBUS™ interfaces for clickboards and is fully compatible with MPLAB X IDE, XC16 compiler and MPLAB Code Configurator.
